Charleville

  • Schedule of WorksA town of 2,685 inhabitants located 68km North of Cork City and is 40 minute drive from Cork City and 55 minute drive from Cork International Airport. It is accessed from the National Primary Route N20 which is a strategic road link between Cork City and Limerick.

    CONFIGURATION
A fibre duct route will be deployed along the main routes out of the town totalling approximately 5,800m. This configuration will provide a resilient ring duct route between the Eircom exchange, the main business locations at the centre of the town and the ESB fibre.

Additionally there is an extension from the MAN to interconnect with the BT fibre directly at the railway station, offering further redundancy. A collocation facility will be deployed approximately 20m from the Eircom exchange.
