Continuous rainfall across West Cork yesterday caused flooding in Dunmanway and Bandon. Skibberreen was also on alert. Local Staff and Fire Services personnel responded as normal and while road flooding did occur, property damage was prevented.
To assist drivers during severe weather conditions Cork County Council has prepared three maps highlighting priority routes throughout the county and the treatment plan for these routes. There are three maps, covering the three administrative divisions of Cork County Council.
