Cork County Council has prepared a Register of pre-approved, suitably qualified gravediggers. All gravediggers who satisfy Health & Safety requirements may apply for inclusion on the Register.
As and from 1st March 2011, Undertakers who engage Gravediggers for the opening of graves in any Town Council or County Council cemetery must do so from the pre-approved list.
