Online Payments System for Dog Licensing

  • Welcome to Cork County Council Online Dog Licence System - iMadra

All dog owners in Cork County can now apply, pay for and receive their annual dog licence online.
This system is called iMadra and you will receive your dog licence electronically at the end of the short application process.
Please print or save your on-line dog licence for your records.
You will not be posted a paper version of the licence.

This application process applies to dogs kept in Cork County only.

    Please Note:

    1. For dogs normally kept outside of the Cork County area, you must apply for a licence to your respective Local Authority or Post Office.
    2. To use iMadra you must have a valid email address, a valid credit/debit card and Internet Explorer v5.5 (or higher).
    3. The annual licence fees are:
        • €20.00 for an Individual Dog Licence
        • €400.00 for a General Dog Licence
    4. Cork County Council offer SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology to protect your credit/debit card details at payment stage for all our online payments.
    5. There is no provision in the Control of Dogs legislation for refund of dog licence fee once transaction is completed.

Please click here to apply for your dog licence online (opens new window).
