Staff Relations
The Staff Relations section is responsible for a variety of staff issues, including the following:
- Managing and processing of applications for all types of special leave, including Family Friendly Initiatives such as paternal leave; Force Majeure leave; maternity, paternity and adoptive leave; carer's leave; job-sharing; work sharing; and career breaks.
- Organising the Staff Well-Being Programme.
- Monitoring and managing sick leave and absenteeism for over 2,600 employees.
- Facilitating ergonomics assessment for staff and vaccinations for staff, where appropriate.
- Monitoring and managing probations and increments.
- Negotiating with unions.
- Implementing national wage increases on an ongoing basis.
