European Projects

The Council continues to be involved in European Projects in relation to Integrated Coastal Zone Management through its involvement in the IMCORE Project, which is focusing on the promotion of approaches to reducing the impacts of climate change on coastal resources, using Cork Harbour as a case study area. This new project, which follows on from the success of the COREPOINT initiative, will also enable and support the implementation of the Cork Harbour Integrated Management Strategy, which was finalised in May 2008.
