    Details of Commission:  Commissioned by Cork County Council with funding from the Per Cent for Art Scheme under the urban renewal scheme, this sculpture is sited in the town of Buttevant on a small traffic island.  The sculpture refers directly to the fauna of the countryside around Buttevant, where badgers, foxes, and hares are a common sight.  The animals are stacked one on top of the other, all three looking in different directions as though about to cross the road.  The sculpture is built of stone aggregate on an armature of welded stainless steel and wire, and stands two metres in height.
