Bandon Library offers a wide range of books for lending to adults and children, including Large Print books and books on tape. The Library also has a selection of Adult Literacy Books for loan. A range of books for children with dyslexia and other reading difficulties is available for loan.

Cork County Council Information e.g Motor Taxation forms, driving licence forms and the Co Development Plan is available at the library.
Internet access is available on 3 PCs. Advance booking for this service is advisable.
Online Services available include Grove Art, Grove Music, Irish Times online, OSI maps and Britannica Online. Software is available on one PC to assist people with visual impairments and learning difficulties.
Events
- Storytelling for children is held every Saturday morning at 11am
- "Reading Rocks" Junior Book Club - meets on the second Wednesday of every month at 4pm
- You can play too - Arts and Crafts for parents and toddlers on Tuesday mornings. Please contact library for details
- Tot-time is held on Friday mornings at 11am - nursery rhymes and songs for pre-school children
- Reading Support Programme for parents of children with dyslexia and other reading difficulties
- Adult Reader's Group - meets on the first Wednesday of every month
- Writer's Group - meets once a fortnight on Thursday mornings at 11am
- Gramophone Recital - this is held once a month on Thursday mornings. Please contact library for details
- Regular art exhibitions from St. Brogan's adult education art group are also held in the library
Various activities are held throughout the year including involvement in local festivals, Library Ireland Week, Seachtain Na Gaeilge, Bealtaine, Summer Arts Programme and Children's Book Festival.
