Blarney Library offers a wide range of books for lending to adults and children, including books on tape and CDs. A selection of general reference books is also held, such as encyclopaedias and dictionaries.
The following Newspapers and Periodicals are available for viewing in the library: the Irish Examiner, the Irish Times, OK, Hello, Prima, the Corkman and Real Homes. The Cork County Development Plan, 2003 is also available for inspection in the library.
Internet access is available at the library. Advance booking for this service is advisable.

Other Events
Exhibitions are regularly held in the library, by various groups such as the Young Acrylic Art Group, the Avondhu Development Group, Colorama Art Therapy and Blarney Community Council.
Various activities are held throughout the year, including involvement in the Bealtaine Festival, the Summer Arts Festival and the Children's Book Festival.
