Opening Hours
- Tuesday to Saturday - 10am-1pm and 2pm-5:30pm.
- Closed for lunch from 1pm-2pm.
- Closed on Saturdays of Bank Holiday weekends.
Fermoy Library offers a wide range of books for lending to adults and children, including books on tape and CDs. A selection of general reference books is also held, such as encyclopaedias and dictionaries.
The following current newspapers and periodicals are available for viewing in the library: the Irish Examiner, the Irish Times, Avondhu, Consumer Choice and Which.
Internet access is also available on 4 PCs. This includes one with full Assistive Technology to aid people with disabilities. Advance booking for this service is advisable.
Events
Various activities are held throughout the year, including involvement in the Bealtaine Festival, the Summer Arts Programme and the Children's Book Festival.
