Opening hours

- Thursday - 9:30am - 7:30pm
- Closed on Saturdays of bank holiday weekends.
The new Mallow Library opened in September 2006 with a stock of 36,000 items. These include Adult Fiction and Non-Fiction books, Large Print Books, Audio Books, Audio-Described Videos and DVDs. There is also a large selection of books for Children and Young People of all ages and tastes.
The library offers 10 PCs for Internet Access and Self-Learning Packages and incorporates a Reference Area, Arts activities area and an exhibition space.

Special Events
Easter Bonnet Workshop for Children on April 1st
Design and make your very own Easter bonnet.
- 10 - 11am session for 7-8 year olds
- 11:30am - 12:30pm session for 9-11 year olds
Workshop open to all. If you are interested in attending please book early as places are limited.
Various activities are held throughout the year, including involvement in the Bealtaine Festival, the Summer Arts Programme and the Children's Book Festival. These events typically incorporate author visits, workshops and exhibitions.
