Passage West Library offers fiction and non-fiction books for lending to adults and children, including books on tape.
The following newspapers are available for viewing in the library: the Irish Examiner, the Irish Times, Carrigdhoun.
Internet access is available on 2 PCs. This includes one with full Assistive Technology to aid people with disabilities. Advance booking for this service is advisable.
Events
- The Readers Group meets on the first Tuesday of every month at 6.20pm.
- The local craft group meets in the library on Thursdays, from 2.30-4pm. All crafts are catered for, but particularly knitting, crochet and swiss darning.
- The library displays an ongoing photographic exhibition of local interest.
- The library hosts events on a seasonal basis throughout the year to celebrate St. Brigid's Festival, the Children's Book Festival, Bealtaine and so on.
