    County Cork is popular for its natural environment. Both the natural environment itself and the recreational facilities provided by Cork County Council are used by local communities and tourists in large numbers. Amenities provided by Cork County Council include the following:

    • Visitor centres

    The supervision of the recreation and amenity facilities is managed within the South Cork, North Cork and West Cork County Council divisions and by the Town Councils.
