    • imageUnder the Government's Water Service Pricing Policy, all local authorities are required to recover Operational Costs and Capital Contributions in respect of the provision of Water and Waste Water Services to the Non-Domestic Sector. • Cork County Council has appointed RPS Consulting Engineers, as Employers Representative to prepare contract documents, procure a suitable contractor,  and administer the contract.
    • Cork County Council has appointed Morrison Utility Services Ltd as the Contractor for the project.
    • The Project is a Design, Build and Operate contract with a 15 year duration. Most installations will be completed during the first 15 months of  project commencement.
    • Meters will be read automatically on a quarterly basis using AMR (Automatic Meter Reading) technology. Some large customers will have their meters read more frequently.
    • The Project will result in a fair and equitable manner of charging for water based on consumption. This will aid water conservation. Customers will be able to monitor their water usage as meters will be readily accessible.
