Status of bathing water:  Green Coast 2011

Cadogan’s Strand is located 500m east of Schull Town. The beach is formed in the North East corner of Schull Harbour. It consists of 1 beach, approximately 250m in length.

Cadogan’s Strand is an extremely valuable resource to both residents and visitors for a number of reasons, including its scenery and landscape and for its safe and sheltered location for swimming and other recreational activities. It is located very close to Schull Town and so allows locals and visitors to Schull to have a safe, clean beach away from the busy harbour.
