Commencement Notice
A person who intends to carry out any works or make a material change in the use of a building, requiring planning permission, or who intends carrying out any other works that require a fire safety certificate, must notify Cork County Council by way of a Commencement Notice not less than 14 days and not more than 28 days before commencement of work. Charges are as follows:
- Commencement Notice Charge - €30.00
- Copy of Commencement Notice - €10.00
