A town of 6,767 inhabitants located on Great Island 31km east of Cork City and is a 15 minute drive from Cork City and 20 minute drive from Cork International Airport. It is accessed by National Primary Route N25 as far as Carrigtwohill and by regional route R624 from there to Cobh town. It is also accessed by rail. The town lies within the Cork Area Strategic Plan boundary. It has an elected town council with 9 members currently chaired by Cllr. Paddy Whitty.

 

CONFIGURATION
In Cobh, Broadband will be offered through wireless technology, to maximise its delivery to both businesses and residences.
