CONFIGURATION
A fibre duct route will be deployed from the mast to the collocation cabin and into the centre of the town. This configuration will provide a ring duct route between the Kinsale reservoir, the Eircom exchange and the main business locations at the centre of the town.
Further services including further redundancy can be offered through Wireless from the mast, which will also extend the reach of the proposed network. A collocation facility will be deployed approximately 120m from the Eircom exchange. 3,972 m of fibre optic cable will be laid under the CCRB project.
