A town of 3,300 inhabitants located 58km north east of Cork City and is a 40 minute drive from Cork City and 50 minutes from Cork International Airport. It is accessed by the N8 National Primary Route which is the main strategic route between Cork City and Dublin City.
CONFIGURATION
A fibre duct route will be deployed along the main street totalling approximately 4,380m. This configuration will provide a ring between the fire station, the Eircom exchange and the main business locations at the centre of the town.
Redundancy can be offered through Wireless to the mast, which will also extend the reach of the proposed network. A collocation facility will be deployed approximately 30m from the Eircom exchange.
