With a combined stock of more than one million books, Cork County Library is certain to have something to interest even the most varied of reading tastes. Each of our 28 branch libraries and 4 mobile libraries strives to provide a comprehensive range of reading material in a variety of formats.

Whether you like to read fiction, non-fiction or children's literature, Cork County Library can supply your favourite titles in large-print, on cassette or CD, or even on an MP3 player, as well as the traditional hardback and paperback books. Cork County Library has developed a Collection Policy (click here to view policy), the aim of which is to inform the public of guidelines and criteria used when acquiring, managing and disposing of stock.
