Schools Library Service
Cork County Library provides a limited class novel loan scheme to primary schools in the county. The collection spans junior infants to 6th class level. These books are loaned on a temporary basis and the scheme operates as follows:
* Each school is allowed to borrow multiple copies of one book for a school term (e.g. The Witches x 30 copies)
* Schools are allowed to borrow only one set of books in each academic year
* Requests and enquiries can be placed via email to schools.library@corkcoco.ie
* Books can be collected from either a local branch library or from a mobile library, where appropriate.
Please note the scheme is for primary schools only. Below is a copy of the Class Novels Catalogue, outlining the titles available and a short summary of each.

The following leaflets are a guide to the most popular reading schemes and series available in our libraries. These series are aimed at beginner, emergent and newly independent readers. The guides give an outline of the order of the series and what sequence to read them, so as to progress through the levels. It will also give an estimate of what age bracket the books are aimed at. It is import to emphasise that these are only rough guides to ages, as all children progress at different levels with their reading.
