  • Cork County Council is delighted to announce the addition of Planning Alerts to its Cork County Alerts service. Receive an email alert with details of any Planning Application submitted or decided near your registered location, or choose to receive all alerts through the MapAlerter App. Full Weekly Planning Lists are now also available to view on the Cork County Alerts home page.(http://mapalerts.corkcoco.ie/).   • Cork County Council seeks expressions of interest from builders/developers for participation in the new Development Contribution Rebate Scheme, as recently announced by the Department of Environment, Community & Local Government in Circular letter PL13/2015. Please see attached for further information on this scheme.
  • Please note that further revisions have been made to the Planning Application Form, Planning Application Form Guidelines, & Exemption Certificate Form to update them in accordance with the Planning & Development (Amendment)(No. 3) Regulations 2015. The revised forms are available to download under the forms tab on Cork County Councils website or in paper format from the Planning Departments public counter.

  • Cork County Council's Planning Department has unveiled their new "Planning Viewer Cork" app, which is free to download on Google's Play Store and Apple's App Store, in a bid to simplify the inspection of planning notices. This is a FREE App for all members of the public which will enable them to search a vast array of planning applications and associated documents from the comfort of their own home or on the move!
  • Cork County Council will undertake essential maintenance on the Online Planning Submissions system.
     
  • Cork County Council provides face-to-face pre-planning clinic meetings under Section 247 of the Planning & Development Act 2000. Click for full details on how to arrange a meeting & what information is required prior to the booking of a meeting.
  • Posters from the second public exhibition held on the 24th of July at Rochestown Park Hotel are on display at Douglas Library from the 25th of July to the 10th of August.

  • Cork County Council has prepared and published a Proposed Amendment of the Draft Local Area Plans for each electoral area in the county (Bandon, Bantry, Blarney, Carrigaline, Fermoy, Kanturk, Macroom, Mallow, Midleton, Skibbereen)
  • Irish placenames are an integral part of the cultural heritage of Ireland. They are a valuable source of knowledge and link to our past, giving meaning to our landscape and insight into former landuses, customs and practises.
  • Cork County Council has prepared a draft Local Area Plan for each of the electoral areas of the county. Each Draft Local Area Plan is accompanied by an Environmental Report setting out the likely significant effects on the environment of implementing each of the local area plans.
  • Cork County Council has published the Proposed Amendment to the Draft of the Special Local Area Plan (SLAP) for Cork Airport and a copy of the Proposed Variation to the County Development Plan 2009 which is the enabling variation for the SLAP.
  • All plans and drawings for one or two dwellings, domestic extensions, domestic garages or outoffices and for any other proposed developments of similar size shall be submitted on a3 or a4 paper and on nothing larger.
