    Kinsale Town Council

    Kinsale Urban District Council was established under the Local government (Ireland) Act, 1898. Kinsale Urban District Council became Kinsale Town Council on 1st January 2002 under the Local Government Act 2001 and has its headquarters at the Municipal Hall, St, John’s Hill, Kinsale, Co. Cork. Kinsale Town Council operates under the following programme groups:-

    • Housing & Building
    • Road Transportation & Safety
    • Water supply & Sewerage
    • Development Incentives & Control
    • Environmental Protection
    • Recreation & Amenity
    • Miscellaneous Services

    Some services under the above headings are provided by Cork County Council on a County at Large and agency basis, for example, Water Supply & Sewerage, Fire Services, Library Services, Personnel Services, Environmental Protection Services, and some Social Housing options etc. Details in relation to such activities are available from Cork County Council website www.corkcoco.ie.
