Landowners and occupiers of land are reminded of their responsibilities under the Roads Act 1993 to take all reasonable steps to ensure that a tree, shrub, hedge or other vegetation on their land is not a hazard or potential hazard to persons using a public road and that it does not obstruct or interfere with the safe use of a public road or the maintenance of a public road.

Boil Water Notice on Macroom Public Water Supply Scheme lifted with immediate effect

Uisce Éireann would like to notify customers supplied by the Macroom Public Water Supply that the Boil Water Notice issued on 13 November 2021 is now lifted with immediate effect following consultation undertaken with the HSE (Health Service Executive).

Rossmore Civic Amenity Site is partially closed to domestic waste and bulky waste due to a technical difficulty. All domestic recycling at the facility is still operational. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
