Cork County Council is playing a pivotal role in the economic and community development of your county, and will be even more proactive in promoting the well-being and quality of life of our citizens and communities into the future.

We are engaging with you, the citizen, through, the Cork Age Friendly County Programme,  the Public Participation Network, the Local Community Development Committees, and the Local Economic & Community Plan.

Cork County Council’s Roads Directorate is responsible for the maintenance of the largest road network (12,200 km) of any local authority in the country. The Council is continuing to invest significant resources into improving and maintaining roads across the county.
