Covid- 19 Service Update
Cork County Council Roads Services during the current Covid 19 restrictions – Information for the General Public.
The Roads Directorate has resumed normal operations and activities from Monday 18th May. However offices remain closed to the public until further notice.
More than 120 Council services, including Roads Services can be accessed online at www.yourcouncil.ie

- Cork County Council crews are working in all areas of Cork County, on the regional & local road improvement and road restoration maintenance programmes.
- On other regional & local roads and on national roads, a number of contractors have resumed works.
- A pipeline of supplies and contracts are sufficiently advanced to start on a number of other sites in all our Municipal Districts over the coming months.
- Town presentation works and social distancing accommodation measures have commenced and is ongoing in 23 Towns across the County.

Cork County Council’s Roads Directorate is responsible for the maintenance of the largest road network (12,200 km) of any local authority in the country. The Council is continuing to invest significant resources into improving and maintaining roads across the county.
