Kanturk - Mallow Municipal District 2019 Painting Scheme Application Form

Cork County Council, Fermoy Municipal District hereby invites applications for the Municipal District Streetscape, Painting, Signage and Improvement Scheme 2019. Tenants or owners of buildings, or local Tidy Towns Groups in the towns and villages of Fermoy, Charleville, Mitchelstown, Doneraile and Kilworth may apply for financial assistance under the scheme to assist in improving the overall appearance of buildings.

There is a grant of up to 50% for individual buildings and an increased grant of 60% for entire street applications. A contribution to a maximum of 100% will be paid towards the cost of materials where it is proposed the tenant / owner will undertake the works themselves. Grant eligibility includes painting, flower baskets, shop front signage etc.

Application forms and further information on the scheme are available from Cork County Council Offices in Fermoy, Charleville, and Mitchelstown.

Closing date for receipt of applications is Friday, 26th April 2019

The Blarney Macroom Municipal District launched their Streetscape Painting, Signage & Improvement Scheme 2019 at the May Monthly Meeting on 8th May 2019. All Members were very supportive of the scheme and encouraged those living in the following areas to partake in the scheme:

Macroom

  • Railway View
  • Main Street
  • The Square
  • Castle Street

Ballingeary

  • Village

Blarney Macroom Municipal District will be working closely with Macroom Tidy Towns to progress a number of applications. Anyone interested in availing of a grant under the scheme should make contact with Blarney Macroom Municipal District by contacting 026-41545 or blarneymacroommd@corkcoco.ie.

The closing date for receipt of applications is the 31st May 2019.
