Following consultation with the HSE, an Advisory Notice Not to Swim is being placed at Tragumna Beach and Rosscarbery Lagoon, due to high levels of bacteria found in a samples taken 17th August 2020. The notice will be reviewed once re-samples are compliant with the Bathing Water Quality Regulations.

It further advises that higher levels of bacteria are usually short lived and most bathers are unlikely to experience any illness.
