  • The Role of Cork County Council’s Local Enterprise Offices and Supports Available
  • LEADER Capital Funding Supports
  • Ring of Cork and SECAD Tourism Skills Programme
  • “Save Your Food” LEADER Food Funding Initiative
  • Accelerate Programme Best Practice Success Story – Leahy’s Farm

  • Cork County Council Tourism supports

Chief Executive, Tim Lucey commented

“I fully support the hosting of this workshop which has come to fruition from the Destination SMEs EU project, where Cork County Council is a key partner. Destination SMEs enables inter-regional learning about tourism for SMEs between 7 EU countries. Initiatives such as this can be instrumental in ensuring that Cork maintains its’ position as a leader in the development of tourism and likewise the hosting of this workshop will equip SMEs in the sector with the supports needed to ensure that tourism continues to thrive in the County of Cork.”

Mayor of the County of Cork, Cllr. Christopher O’ Sullivan said

We are delighted to host this event to help raise awareness of the extent of supports available for SME’s in the tourism sector. Cork is well known for its many tourism assets, which includes internationally renowned attractions, an abundance of natural and built heritage, unique and prominent festivals and strong, sustainable businesses which are the bread and butter of tourism. If you or your business has an interest in tourism, I would urge you to attend this free event.

The “Tourism Supports – Let’s Talk Business” briefing takes place in the Radisson Hotel, Little Island, from 7.30am -10.15am on Monday, 2nd of December.
