Cork County Council intends to renew the list of suitably qualified grave diggers who will be available for selection to work in Cork County Council graveyards.
It remains the intention of Cork County Council to strongly recommend the use of approved grave diggers in Cork County Council graveyards i.e. those who can demonstrate the ability to comply with Cork County Council requirements.
Only these grave diggers will be included in the approved list.
Interested parties can download an application form and supporting details from www.yourcouncil.ie. Forms are also available from your local Council office.
The approved list once renewed will be subject to updates as appropriate.
The closing date for receipt of completed application forms is 4pm on Friday 14th January 2022. Completed application forms are to be submitted in sealed envelopes marked “Grave Diggers Approved List” and addressed to Ms. Deirdre Carey, Senior Staff Officer, Health & Safety Department, Floor 6, County Library Building, Carrigrohane Road, Cork.
