Cork County Council can confirm that fire service operations remain active at the R and H Hall site in Ringaskiddy.

A crew from Kinsale Fire Station were on site throughout the night while crews from Carrigaline and Crosshaven now continue to expose and extinguish any hot spots that may exist within the storage facility.

Due to the nature of this incident, this will be an ongoing process and Cork County Council would again like to reassure members of the public that all operations are being undertaken in a highly controlled manner.

There may be further fresh smoke from any flare up as fire service crews remove panels from the structures to access hot spots.

The material involved remains unchanged and is a natural, organic animal feed.

Fire Crews will remain on site until this operation is fully complete.

Is féidir le Comhairle Contae Chorcaí a dhearbhú go bhfanfaidh oibríochtaí seirbhíse dóiteáin gníomhach ar shuíomh R & H Hall i Rinn an Scidígh.

Bhí criú ó Stáisiún Dóiteáin Chionn tSáile ar an láthair i rith na hoíche agus leanann foirne as Carraig Uí Leighin agus Bun an Tábhairne ag nochtadh agus ag múchadh aon spotaí te a d’fhéadfadh a bheith ann laistigh den tsaoráid stórála.

Mar gheall ar chineál na heachtra seo, is próiseas leanúnach a bheidh anseo agus ba mhaith le Comhairle Contae Chorcaí a chur ar a suaimhneas arís don phobal go bhfuil gach oibríocht á déanamh ar bhealach ana-rialaithe.

D’fhéadfadh go mbeadh tuilleadh deataigh úr ann ó aon bhladhm de réir mar a bhainfeadh criúnna seirbhíse dóiteáin painéil as na struchtúir chun rochtain a fháil ar spotaí te.

Níl aon athrú ar an ábhar atá i gceist agus is Bia nádúrtha, orgánach d’ainmhithe é.

Fanfaidh na Foirne Dóiteáin ar an láithreán go dtí go mbeidh an oibríocht seo críochnaithe go hiomlán.
