Funding Announced for 18 Anti-Dumping Projects in County Cork

Cork County Council has been successful in securing funding of €108,000 under the Waste Enforcement Regional Lead Authority (WERLA) Anti-Dumping Initiative 2022.  The funding will support 18 diverse projects that aim to tackle illegal dumping in Cork County.

Clonakilty International Guitar Festival returned for its 18th year this September 9th to 18th. For 10 days the town of Clonakilty became the stage, where small venues and re-imagined public spaces facilitated encounters with great music and great people.

Cork County Council’s Local Enterprise Office South Cork is inviting schools to sign up for this year’s Student Enterprise Programme.  Now in its 21st year, over 300,000 students have taken part in Ireland’s largest enterprise programme for second level students, learning how to create a business idea, before starting and growing their business.
