Cork County Council has published its Housing Delivery Action Plan which sets out targets to build up to 3,880 social and affordable homes across the county by both the Council itself as well as approved housing bodies over the next five years. 

The Mayor of the County of Cork, Cllr Danny Collins is encouraging the people of Midleton and surrounding areas to have their say at the upcoming Midleton Flood Relief Scheme Public Participation Day which takes place on July 28th.

Cork County Council has advanced efforts in controlling an infestation of Giant Hogweed along the River Bride in East Cork.

Cork County Council is encouraging groups and individuals to apply to be part of Culture Night 2022. The annual event, which celebrates culture, creativity and the arts across the country, will take place on Friday, September 23rd 2022.

While it might not feel like beach weather, Cork County Council’s Beach Lifeguards have started their full-time summer schedule and are encouraging parents and guardians to adopt their new motto, “Holding Hands Saves Lives”.
