Temporary Closing of Public Roads

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following road for the period and reason specified below:- 

Road Subject of Proposed Closure

R-591-311 Goleen, Co.Cork - from the junction with Rock Island (L-8405) to the junction at White Strand (L-4402).

Period of Proposed Closure 

From 08:00hrs on Monday 3rd July 2023 to 19:00hrs on Tuesday 4th July 2023

(24hr Closure).

Reason for Proposed Closure

To facilitate Road Re-surfacing.

Alternative Routes

Alternative route via the L-4401 and L-4402, Goleen village to Barleycove.

RESIDENTIAL access ONLY will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.

Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-93-2023, not later than 5pm on Thursday 8th June 2023.  Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.

Bealach malartach tríd an L-4401 agus an L-4402, sráidbhaile Góilín go Bá na hEornan.

Ceadófar ROCHTAIN ÁITIÚIL AMHÁIN ar feadh thréimhse an Dúnadh Bóthair.

Ba cheart aon agóidí i gcoinne an dúnadh bóthair sealadach seo a dhéanamh i scribhinn, a sheoladh chuig an té a shínigh, ag lua Uimh: TRC-81-2023, nach déanaí ná 5 p.m. Déardaoin an 8ú Meitheamh 2023.  Ba cheart sonraí teagmhála teileafóin a chur san áireamh san agóid.
