Identified Red Strand is Green Flag Beach located in a horseshoe bay near Rosscarbery in County Cork. It is quite popular for surfing and has reasonably consistent surf all year round.

Green Coast Silver Strand is a beautiful sandy beach with magnificent views of Cape Clear Island and the Atlantic.

Bathing Water Status: Green Coast Ballinamona Beach is part of a line of beaches from Silver Strand on edge of Ballycotton Village which connects to Ballynamona which in turn connects to Ardnahinch Beach which then connects to Garryvoe Beach.  It is sandy and sheltered and popular with walkers and surfers.
