U.C.C. Conference - Cork Studies in the Irish Revolution - 'A Woman Shall Not be Disqualified': Ireland and the Cause of Female Suffrage takes place in Boole II Lecture Theatre, U.C.C., Co. Cork
To mark the centenary of the landmark 1918 General Election, the School of History, University College Cork, working in association with Cork City and County Councils and with assistance from the Creative Ireland Fund, is pleased to announce that a major conference on the subject of Ireland and the cause of female suffrage, entitled ‘”A woman shall not be disqualified”: Ireland and the cause of female suffrage’ is scheduled to take place in UCC on Saturday 8 December 2018.
The event is the latest in the Cork Studies in the Irish Revolution annual series of conferences that has been running since 2012. All welcome.
