The seminar offers stakeholders a great opportunity to hear about and discuss modern sustainable and active travel developments and goals for Cork as well as learn about the Healthy Ireland Initiative, the work of SUSTRANS in Northern Ireland, the Southern Regional Assembly, EU Projects and other best practice examples here and abroad.

National Tree Week 2019
National Tree Week, organised by the Tree Council of Ireland in association with Coillte, will take place from 31st March - 7th April 2019. Forest and woodland walks, nature trails, workshops, talks, tree hugging, tree climbing, poetry readings and exhibitions. These are just a small selection of events that you or your community could organise for National Tree Week and it is furthermore hoped that the Tree Council will be able to provide a number of trees for planting with details on this to be confirmed soon.
