The business community of the North Cork area will receive a welcome boost on Wednesday 6th January in the Mallow GAA Complex with an All Start Line Up - Brid Stack Cork All Star, Jan Harte HR Consultant and Organizational Specialist and JJ O’Connell Director of the PLATO & Family Business Ireland Network

The Local Enterprise Office will host the seminar where Kevin Curran will speak on the supports available from the LEO. The Event will commence at 8am and finish at 10.30am.

Join us for a half-day convention in Fota Island Resort on technology in the agricultural technology sector, with a focus on the the future challenges of farming, the uses of technology in developing and sustaining the agricultural economy, and the requirements from the farmer's viewpoint. Speakers and experts will join us, and we will hear from start-ups in the AgTech sector on their journey from development, to solution, to where they are today.

'Healthy Commuting Options and the Built Environment' Seminar Cork

This year’s theme ‘Healthy Commuting Options and the Built Environment’ aims to explore how the built environment influences active travel.

Friday March 29th 10am -1pm in Council Chambers Cork City Hall

The seminar offers stakeholders a great opportunity to hear about and discuss modern sustainable and active travel developments and goals for Cork as well as learn about the Healthy Ireland Initiative, the work of SUSTRANS in Northern Ireland, the Southern Regional Assembly, EU Projects and other best practice examples here and abroad.

The Vanbrugh



This is a rare opportunity to hear the two great classical works written for the combination of clarinet and string quartet in the same concert. The Vanbrugh is delighted to welcome Macdara Ó Seiradáin and Siun Milne two distinguished guest artists for this special event.

Cork County Council are proud to support this event, which will take place in The Mall Arts Centre, Youghal this Saturday 30th March at 3.00 pm.

National Tree Week 2019

National Tree Week, organised by the Tree Council of Ireland in association with Coillte, will take place from 31st March - 7th April 2019. Forest and woodland walks, nature trails, workshops, talks, tree hugging, tree climbing, poetry readings and exhibitions. These are just a small selection of events that you or your community could organise for National Tree Week and it is furthermore hoped that the Tree Council will be able to provide a number of trees for planting with details on this to be confirmed soon.
