Cork County Council has secured over €7 million to deliver key infrastructure projects in Carrigaline and Kanturk.

Cork County Council has undertaken two documentaries as part of its Decade of Centenaries Commemorative Programme to remember The Kilmichael Ambush and two of Cork’s revolutionaries, Tomás MacCurtáin and Terence McSwiney. The documentary videos, supported by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, will be released on Cork County Council’s YouTube channel on Friday, November 27th.

Festive additions to routes across the county as part of A Real Cork Christmas

Following a number of successful online creative writing and digital music performances, the latest offering from Cork County Council’s Library and Arts service will provide free online workshops for crafters throughout the county.

As part of Cork County Council’s “A Real Cork Christmas” campaign in county towns and villages, and in collaboration with Cobh and Harbour Chamber of Commerce, Cobh Tidy Towns and Port of Cork, the charming East Cork town of Cobh sets in motion its unique ‘Togetherness' Cobh Christmas Plan 2020 from this weekend.

Following the success of Cork County Council’s original ‘The Colourful Heritage of County Cork’ bilingual colouring book, a second volume has now been launched as part of the Council’s ‘Keep Well’ wellbeing campaign.
