Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 10 (1) of the Road Traffic Act 2004, as amended, that a Road Works Speed Limit Order has been made in the interests of road safety and to facilitate the construction of the Dunkettle to Carrigtwohill Inter – Urban Cycleway (Phase 3).

 

Local Road



L-3004 Local Road – for a distance of approximately 1.6km from the east approach of Bury’s bridge roundabout to a point just east of the access junction for Little Island train station.

L-3004 Local Road – for a distance of approximately 1.2km from the east side of Rockgrove junction where the R623 regional road intersects the L-3004 local road to the west side of Glounthaune village.

The Road Works Speed Limit to be applied shall be 60km/h (reduced from 80 km/h).

This speed limit will apply for the period from 07.00hrs on 18/07/2022 to 22.00hrs on 17/07/2023 (both dates inclusive) or such earlier date as determined by Cork County Council.

Relevant speed limit signs will be in place.

Regard shall be given to any representations that are made in writing to Roads Department, Cork County Council, The Courthouse, Skibbereen, Co Cork, in relation to this Road Works Speed Limit Order.
