TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS
Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following road for the period and reason specified below:
Road Subject of Proposed Closure
R-619 (Part of ) Garraneredmund, Donoughmore, Co. Cork.
Period of Proposed Closure
From 08.00hrs on Tuesday 16th August 2022 to 21.00 on Saturday 20th August 2022.
(24hr Closure).
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate the installation of a cattle underpass.
Alternative Routes
Vehicles traveling to Mallow should detour at Taylor’s/Porter’s Cross onto the L-6776. Traffic should continue straight onto the L-5358 at Hurley Cross to Glandine Cross. At Glandine Cross, traffic should turn right onto the L-5341 to Bweeng Village. In Bweeng, traffic should turn left back onto the R619 to Mallow.
Vehicles travelling from Mallow should detour left at Manning’s Cross onto the L-6782 to New Tipperary. There traffic should rejoin the R619 to Donoughmore/Coachford.
Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-126-2022, not later than 5.00pm on Tuesday 26th July 2022. Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.

Roads Subject of Proposed Closure
R599-0 (Part of) Milleenanannig, Dunmanway, Co. Cork - from Clubhouse Junction to Underhill Junction.
Period of Proposed Closure
From 08.00hrs on Monday, 22nd August 2022 to 20.00hrs on Friday, 23rd September 2022.
(24hr closure)
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate Road Resurfacing.
Alternative Routes
From the Clubhouse Crossroads/Junction (R599/R637) - keep east along the R637 until Manch Junction (R586/R637). At the Manch Junction turn left onto R586, until Sackville Junction (R586/L4620) in Dunmanway Town. At Sackville Junction turn left onto L4620 until Quarry Road Junction (L4620/R599). At Quarry Road junction turn left on to Park Road (R599) until Underhill Junction (R599/L8574).
The above stated diversion is applicable in reverse.
Local Access will be maintained on roads at both sides of works area for the duration of the closure. Access through the works area will not be maintained.
Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-128-2022, not later than 5pm on Tuesday, 26th July 2022. Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.

L–9719 Gaurdwell Street, Kinsale, Co. Cork.
Period of Proposed Closure
From 09.00hrs on Monday 5th September 2022 to 00.01hrs on Sunday 18th September 2022. (24hr Closure)
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate Installation of Gas main supply for New Library Building Kinsale.
Alternative Routes
Via Market Street and Higher O Connell Street, Kinsale, Co. Cork.
The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.
Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.
