Temporary Closing Of Public Roads

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS
Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following road for the periods and reasons specified below:
Road Subject of Proposed Closure
L-7281 (Part Of) Roberts Cove, Co. Cork – road adjacent to Reservoir.
Period of Proposed Closure
From 08.00hrs on Tuesday, 1st November 2022 to 18.00hrs on Tuesday, 31st January 2023. (24hr Closure).
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate Laying of Watermain.
Alternative Routes
Traffic on the west side of the closed section of the L-7281 wishing to access Roberts Cove should proceed in a westerly direction along the L-7281 to junction of the L-3210, turn left and proceed in an easterly direction.
The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.
Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.
Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-151-2022, not later than 5.00pm on Thursday, 22nd September 2022. Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.
