‘Think Cork County’ Campaign in effect from December 1st

With just weeks to go until Christmas the Cork public are once again being urged to shop a little closer to home this festive season and support their local businesses. This is the underlying message of the ‘Think Cork County’ campaign, an initiative of Cork County Council which is now in its third year, as it returns for 2018, encouraging residents of County Cork to ‘shop local, think your county, your town’.

Jiangsu is located on the eastern coast of China, has a population of 80 million and the second highest GDP of the Chinese provinces with a gross domestic product in excess of US$1 trillion per annum. It is home to many of the world's leading exporters of electronic equipment, chemicals and textile and has been China's largest recipient of foreign direct investment since 2006.

Irish Entrepreneurs can now apply for the chance of a lifetime thanks to this morning’s official launch of Cork County Council’s ground-breaking start-up programme with Boston based MassChallenge, (Bridge to MassChallenge Cork).

The business community of the North Cork area will receive a welcome boost on Wednesday 6th January in the Mallow GAA Complex with an All Start Line Up - Brid Stack Cork All Star, Jan Harte HR Consultant and Organizational Specialist and JJ O’Connell Director of the PLATO & Family Business Ireland Network

The Local Enterprise Office will host the seminar where Kevin Curran will speak on the supports available from the LEO. The Event will commence at 8am and finish at 10.30am.
