    Eurofuturoscope:
    Cork County is a participant in the Eurofuturoscope network created by two European cities and six regions. It was founded in the region of La Vienne in France. Cork County signed an international cooperation agreement with the region of La Vienne in 1998, and a networking agreement with all the players was signed in June 2001. Networking agreement was updated and signed by the partners in October 2008.

    The members of the network have agreed to cooperate in the following fields:
    * Youth and school exchanges and mobility of the young
    * International trade, SMEs, and economic development
    * Environment
    * Regional and spatial planning
    * Tourism
    * Demographic change

    The members of Eurofuturoscope get together once a year in a network meeting to examine the results of the year and to plan the following year. The location of the network meeting rotates between member regions and cities.
