Public Spending Code

All Irish public bodies are obliged to treat public funds with care and to ensure that the best possible value-for-money is obtained whenever public money is being spent or invested.

The Public Spending Code is the set of rules and procedures that apply to ensure that these standards are upheld across the Irish public service.

Cork County Council compiles the Public Spending Code Quality Assurance Report on an annual basis. The latest reports can be found in the 'Document Sumary' section below.

As part of the Quality Assurance process, Cork County Council has published summary information online of all procurement greater than €10million which can also be found in the 'Document Summary' section below.
