Let's Talk Business Youghal

Youghal’s Mall Arts Centre will play host to a free business seminar for start-up and existing business owners on Friday 19th April 2024 from 10 am – 12.30pm. 

Presented by The Youghal Socio-Economic Development Group (YSEDG), the event will see impressive key note speakers including Cullen Allen (Cully & Sully) as well as former Champion Jockey, Grand National & Gold Cup winner, Davy Russell. The event is supported by The Local Enterprise Office (LEO), Cork County Council and Enterprise Ireland.

Speaking in advance of the event, Chairperson of the YSEDG, Barbara Murray, encouraged as many business owners to attend. “Some businesses out there may feel that there is no support for their small business or startup; but there are a raft of grants waiting to be picked up, it’s just about knowing where to access them.  This event will point these business owners in the right direction to receive the advice, mentoring and analysis for both new and existing business. It’s also a great opportunity to network with other like-minded businesses people! Said Barbara. 

MC for the event, Meabh Ring (Marketing & Resource Development Consultant) will facilitate a panel discussion with owners: Fiona Kelleher (MyGug), Hanna Backmo (Hanna’s Bees) and Niamh Hegarty (BKultured/Niamh’s Larder). The event will conclude with a complimentary light lunch. The panel will discuss the ways in which each of these business owners has overcome adversity, as well discussing the various grant supports they received along the way.
