TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following road for the period and reason specified below:

Road Subject of Proposed Closure
R619-399, Quartertown Road, Mallow Co. Cork.

Period of Proposed Closure
From 19.00hrs on Tuesday 14th June 2022 to 19.00hrs on Tuesday 28th June 2022.
(24hr Closure).

Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate Pipeline Construction.

Alternative Routes
Traffic from the R620-28 (Mallow Bridge) and the L1223-0 (Killavullen Road) will be diverted along the R620-28 to the junction of the R620-28 and the R-638-0 (Merits Corner). From here traffic will travel along the R638-0 to the junction of the R619-399.

The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.

Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.

Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-59-2022, not later than 5.00pm on Tuesday 10th May 2022. Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.

Period of Proposed Closure
From 08:00hrs on Monday 27th June 2022 to 17.00hrs on Friday 1st July 2022.
(24hr Closure).

Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate the installation of a cattle underpass.

Alternative Routes
Southbound Traffic – via L-5617-0 Blackroad to L5638-0 Nutgrove.
Northbound Traffic – via L-5640-0 through Ballindangan (L1409-26) on to L5639-0 Ballydeloughy.

Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.

Period of Proposed Closure
From 08.00hrs on Monday 30th May, 2022 to 18.00hrs on Friday 1st July, 2022 (24hr Closure).

Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate Road Resurfacing.

Alternative Routes
At Thullery Cross continue on the LP-1210 to Newberry Cross, then turn right onto the R619 and on into Dromahane Village.

The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.

Local Access will be maintained throughout the duration of the closure.

To facilitate installation of a replacement watermain.

Alternative Routes
Traffic from Cullen should turn right at the junction between the L-5169 and L-5170 and continue to the junction with the R582. There, traffic should turn left onto the R582 to Ballydaly

Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.

Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-63-2022, not later than 5.00pm on Tuesday 10th May 2022. Telephone contact details should be included in the objection..

Traffic from Tober travelling towards Rathmore should turn left at the junction between the L-5173 and L-5170 and continue to Ballydaly Cross. There, traffic should turn right onto the R582 towards Rathmore

Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.

Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-62-2022, not later than 5.00pm on Tuesday 10th May 2022. Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.
