Housing
The Housing Directorate aims to facilitate the provision of suitable, quality and cost-effective accommodation and housing support. This is provided through a combination of the following : Rental Accommodation Schemes (RAS), Housing Assistance (HAP), Long term leased Units, Voluntary & Co-operative Housing, Traveller Accommodation, Construction & Acquisition of Houses, provision of Grants to meets the needs of disabled and older people, transfers from existing Local Authority Accommodation and provision of sites for private houses.
