A Christmas Gift for Towns & Villages across the County

Cork County Council have been working hard to support local and bring a little extra festive cheer in towns and villages around the County. As part of the Council’s ‘A Real Cork Christmas’, residents and visitors to Monkstown have been treated to a spectacular Christmas tree, to raise spirits and light up the village.

“it has been so uplifting for all of our spirits, the tree is a beacon of joy after such a grey and difficult year”.

Mayor of the County of Cork Cllr Mary Linehan Foley, said,

“As part of Cork County Council’s A Real Cork Christmas campaign, Christmas trees have been supplied to towns and villages across each of our Municipal Districts in the County.
