Covid-19 has had an enormous impact on everyday life leading to a variety of challenges for many in our communities. With this in mind, Cork County Council has extended the closing dates for a number of Grant Schemes currently available for applications, including:

 

  • County Cork Commemorations Grant Scheme 2020

Cork County Council, in recognition of the importance of the War of Independence and Civil War and acknowledging the enthusiasm that exists within the County wishes to commemorate the centenary of this defining period of Irish history.

  • Creative Ireland County Cork Grant Scheme 2020

The Creative Ireland Programme is an invitation to the entire country to get involved in something truly inspirational. The programme recognises the importance of the community sector to the county’s very culture and wellbeing and aims to support people and communities in undertaking projects or events in keeping with the scheme.

  • Age Friendly County Programme

The Cork County Age Friendly programme aims to support the development of a network of Age Friendly towns across County Cork, providing financial assistance to groups seeking to designate their town as Age Friendly. Examples of age friendly initiatives implemented in participating towns include accessible public seating, promotion of Age Friendly businesses, social inclusion events and public realm enhancements.

The closing date for applications has been extended to 4pm on Thursday April 30th 2020. Click here for more information

Tá tionchar ollmhór ag Covid-19 ar an saol laethúil fé láthair agus tá dúshláin éagsúla ann do go leor inár bpobail. Ag tabhairt aird ar an fhíric sin, chuir Comhairle Contae Chorcaí síneadh ar dhátaí deiridh le haghaidh roinnt Scéimeanna Deontais atá ar fáil d’iarratais fé láthair, lena n-áirítear:

  • Scéim Deontais Cuimhneacháin Chontae Chorcaí 2020

Mar aitheantas ar thábhacht do Chogadh na Saoirse agus Cogadh na gCarad agus aitheantas a thabhairt don díograis atá ann sa Chontae Is mian le Comhairle Contae Chorcaí cuimhneachán céad bliain na tréimhse sainmhínithe seo de stair na hÉireann a chomóradh.

  • Scéim Deontais Chontae Chorcaí d'Éire Ildánach 2020

Is cuireadh é an Clár Éire Ildánach don tír ar fad a bheith páirteach i rud fíor-inspioráideach. Aithníonn an clár tábhacht na hearnála pobail do chultúr agus folláine an chontae agus tá sé mar aidhm aige tacú le daoine agus le pobail tabhairt faoi thionscadail nó imeachtaí atá ar aon dul leis an scéim.

  • Clár Contae Aoisbhá

Tá sé mar aidhm ag an gclár Aoisbháúil do Chontae Chorcaí tacú le líonra de bhailte Aoisbháúla a fhorbairt ar fud Chontae Chorcaí, ag soláthar cúnamh airgeadais do ghrúpaí atá ag iarraidh a mbaile a ainmniú mar bhaile Aoisbháúil. I measc samplaí de thionscnaimh a thacaíonn le haois a chuirtear i bhfeidhm sna bailte rannpháirteacha tá suíocháin phoiblí inrochtana, gnóthaí a thacaíonn le hAois a chur chun cinn, imeachtaí um chuimsiú sóisialta agus feabhsúcháin ar an réimse poiblí.
