Temporary Closing of Public Roads

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following road for the period and reason specified below:

Road Subject of Proposed Closure
R-522-318/300 (Section of), Doneraile, Co. Cork.

Period of Proposed Closure
From 08.00hrs on Saturday 11th December, 2021 to 18.00hrs on Wednesday 22nd December, 2021 (24hr Closure).

Reason for Proposed Closure 
To facilitate Irish Water pipe laying works.

Alternative Routes
For traffic travelling East, stay Southwards on the R581 via Doneraile and divert Eastwards on to the L-1332 and Northwards on the N-73-69 to Clogher until its intersection with the R522.

The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.

Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-133-2021, not later than 5.00pm on Friday 12th November 2021.  Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.
